Artists don't like it when people illegaly download their music online..but what if the band/artist is no longer active in the music business? and they've stopped selling their albums?Is it still illegal to download music for free,even though the band has disbanded?

Yes, it's still illegal. The former band members still get paid for music purchased. Whether they're together or not has no impact. The Beatles, for example.Is it still illegal to download music for free,even though the band has disbanded?
from what I know of it's illegal to download copyrighted music online even if the band has disbanded.
their music is still copyrighted.
