How different would the music world be without Michael Jackson?sadly hes dead so right now the world sucks and is a ripoff thats why i have all his songs on my i-pod my favorite one is Smooth Criminal and Dont stop till you get enough even my friend Natalya is in love with HIM and his songs she has an ipod and his musics too we both listen to it every time lol!

How different would the music world be without Michael Jackson?I believe that almost all music would be different today without him and so would MTV. He was the first person to make a music video have a story line, he revolutionized dance for all genres of music and he developed all sorts of different beats. I mean look at Rhianna, she used his beat from "wanna be startin something" and many others have used some of his work in their own pieces. In addition, he helped write all sorts of other songs. In essence, he was one of the most influential people in the music industry ever! It doesn't matter whether or not you like him but he did have a large impact. Sure, critics would say that all of this stuff would have come about eventually, but I don't think that it would have all been from one person. Michael Jackson was a one of a kind, from his childhood he was not treated fairly and loved so he felt the need to always please the world and have others love him. In conclusion, whether you're a fan or not he had an impact on your favorite music, as Elizabeth Taylor said, he was "...the king of pop, funk and soul."
You would not have alot of today's singers.
Also, the music industry would be very crappy.
When Michael made Thriller, everyone started to buy it along with other music.
So be thankful for him.
REALLY DIFFERENT Michael Jackson was one of the first people to be an african american and appear on MTV or VH1 with Billie Jean... Music would be really different... no Usher, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown etc. Pop Culture wouldn't be the same.... Michael Jackson didn't just influence Pop culture he influenced humanity with "Heal the World foundation", and " We Are The World" USA FOR AFRICA... No One will every be the same.....
