The person could of not been making enough music or making un popular songs.What are reason a music artist label would drop them?
The artists sales might not be going well. Disagrement over the artists work. Disagreement over artists percentage income. Producer (Label) doesn't like their songs (Mostly the case with up and coming artists, some never even release a song), Breach of contract on either parties side.
There are loads of reasons, but these are just a few.
